Club Management

We brainstormed at Carowinds about some local club issues...
  • Your club can decide the officers you need for success.
  • Require students to check/send emails often, especially day before for Agenda from President
  • Project chairs, bring printed out sign-up sheets and maps with you for your event
  • Enloe: Participates in community events, service every weekend. By using HostedGroups.org, they can do it! (created by an Enloe Key Club Alum)
  • Big Club? Let Grade Representatives help
  • Record attendance in notebook
  • Update Roster in Google Docs or Dropbox file
  • Collect and remind members about paying their dues in the fall
  • Put notes on lockers to stay in touch with grade, remind them about events
  • Post agenda/handout/calendar online or on Bulletin Board right after meeting for those who missed
  • Facebook, Twitter, Instagram page – totally led by kids, have one person as designated Social Media person or Share password and hashtag initials at the end.
  • To encourage meeting attendance, have one a month and let the social media and websites keep all informed.
  • We are all baffled about how to keep busy students motivated to lead
